Activity
DKD Co Ltd manufacture pipes such as polyethylene, Isorange, and electric conduits using recycled plastics as primary raw material. At the start, we purchased virgin plastic materials from AMRO Chemicals Ltd for the manufacturing of our plastic pipes. In view of the high costs involved in the production of our pipes, the company in 2008 made the acquisition of a Waste Plastic Recycle plant which enables us to go Green and recycle plastic waste as our main source of raw material for production. We are also capable of recycling plastic waste into plastic pellets for industrial usage.
History
DKD Company Ltd was incorporated on 17th May 2005 as a private company and became operational in November 2007. We started our business in the back yard at Pointe Aux Piments, in a garage of 400 sq ft with only one piping machine. In 2009, the company bought its 2nd machine and moved to an industrial building of 10,000 sq ft situated at Royal Road, L’Avenir, Saint Pierre. In 2010, the company rented another warehouse of 5,000 sq ft for the project of a waste plastic storage and recycling plant. Today we operate over 15,000 sq ft at St Pierre and have an actual workforce of 10 staff.
